No matter where you go, if you find a great coffee shop and a new hiking trail, you’re going to have a great day.

I'm Katlyn, creator of Nero Coffee Hikes in Brevard, NC, and I started The Wired Hiker because whenever I visit a new place I make it a mission to find the best coffee shops and hiking trails. When you travel, visiting a local coffee shop connects you with the community. And hiking a local trail connects you to the outdoors, If you do both, you’ll have a great day and feel more connected to the place you’re in. It’s a travel philosophy that’s worked for me so I share my favorite coffee shops and hiking trail recommendations here. My goal is to make it easy for you to find great coffee and get outside no matter where you go.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

The name is too perfect, and it’s a pretty nifty piece of gear for making a pour over while backpacking, camping, or at home.

  • Since you're here, I'm willing to bet you're a fan of all things coffee and hiking.

Now you can connect with other people in your area (and all over the planet) that do too.
